The election season is draining, emotional, stressful, and a other exhausting adjectives. There are a lot of us who are doing double or triple duty.

Community organizing
Our regular (paying) jobs
It can all get overwhelming at times and so it is important to remember to enjoy ourselves a little bit too. This election IS urgent, our problems ARE real.
But we also have the chance to build new long last communities and organizing groups that will take us through the coming years as we try to help our leaders get back on track in the actual job of governing.
We will need these strong groups to fight for health care, to promote the green jobs revolution, to reform our failing systems. So reach out to those around you that are coming together around the issues and candidates in this historic year.
Party together, eat and drink together, talk, laugh and cry together.
We will all need each other beyond these 43 days.
The bonds we make now will help us pursue the real change we need.
Yes We Can.
P.S. Don't forget to tell EVERYONE you know to register to vote before it is too late.
