As a food lover, and as a cupcake cafe aspiring owner-- I keep my ears and taste buds open to news from the underground cupcake junkies. This one was actually splashed all over the headlines and lucky Smithsonian visitors had a chance to taste the artistry.
That's right-- this massive installation...
is made entirely of cupcakes and was displayed for valentines and president's day at the Smithsonian-- and promptly consumed by visitors after.
Cupcake artist and baker Zilly Rosen made the foodie headlines back in the campaign days with another famous cupcake Obama piece. I think this newest one is even better though.
What's next I wonder? How about a cupcake version of the whole first family. Stay tuned, I am sure Zilly has more in store.
